+33 I don't like, dare I say hate, Nutella. amirite?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I used to like Nutella, but they changed the recipe at some point and now it just taste like sugar goo with too much oil in it to me.

by Willie54 1 week ago

Nutella has always been excessively sweet palm oil. The first time I tasted it I was nauseous. People seriously like this insane amount of sugar?

by Raynorangie 1 week ago

I mean, humans evolved to love sugar, it's not very surprising. The sweetness isn't the problem for me, I just don't like hazelnut.

by mullerdovie 1 week ago

Of course. Not only humans like sugar, the majority of animals do. That's why fruits evolved to be as sweet as possible. Sugar becomes a problem when there's too mych of it.

by Raynorangie 1 week ago

It is a known fact that fruit and animals are very fond of each other.

by alisoncorkery 1 week ago

Thank you lol. That's generally how evolution works. I think u was just basically agreeing with the person I replied to, but also someone responded to me saying what I said didn't make sense. It's almost 4 AM and I have a toothache and I just want to be able to sleep.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Makes no sense

by Cassandra69 1 week ago

There's isn't that much hazelnut in nutella; just pick around it.

by Nat06 1 week ago

I don't think you know what nutella is.

by mullerdovie 1 week ago

I'm hoping maybe they were making a stupid joke

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I don't think you ever worked at ferrero. Like you can smell the burned hazelnut a mile away from the factory.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

When did they do that? Last time I ate nutella is probably years ago

by Schmelerjamaal 1 week ago

'some point' is also called 'I grew up'

by Turbulent_Line 1 week ago

italian nutella tastes like proper nutella imo. way less of a sugar oil goo and more of a sticky chocolate nut paste (as it should be)

by Human_Bookkeeper_295 1 week ago

I think it still tastes mostly the same

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I disagree. I eat so much Nutella, it's close to the best thing in the world. What country are you in? Maybe it's different place to place. I'm in Australia and the one I get is Australian made.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I don't like it and I'm in the US. But the main reason I don't like it is just that I don't like hazelnut

by mullerdovie 1 week ago

Ferro rocher is just Nutella filled chocolate balls.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

You just literally changed my life now I'm a little upset

by Zestyclose_Resist492 1 week ago

You're welcome… I wonder if Ferraro rocher and Nutella are made in the same place?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Yes they are all made in ferrero. Even tik tacs are made there and all kinder products.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I had to google it they're owned by Ferrero...maybe because the chocolate and nuts themselves mitigate the impact of the Nutella...Im still shocked by this lolol

by Zestyclose_Resist492 1 week ago

ferrero rochers aren't filled with nutella, they use a different thing for that:)

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Nah that's nutella b-ready.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Lucky for you it's straight up just chocolate frosting

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Coming from someone who lives in the land of Vegemite, I find it hilarious.

by CultureFit4944 1 week ago

Everything tastes better in Australia.

by alisoncorkery 1 week ago

Right?? Whats going on here it's God's nectar. Ever try freezing some? Makes it like fudge

by clifton88 1 week ago

Nah, it doesn't last long enough for me to freeze it 😂However, I do mix it with ice cream and Milo.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

True that. In Europe it differs from country to country.

by wizabrenden 1 week ago

Me too! I eat it by the jar 😖

by halvorsondorthy 1 week ago

Loads shotgun with malicious intent

by Alternative_Cry_9232 1 week ago

I mean it's fine, but it's not nearly as great as people seem to think it is.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

i'll do you one better, i don't like peanut butter

by Spiritual_Host 1 week ago

I've never had pb&j.

by barrowskylee 1 week ago

It's the palm oil.

by Erdmandameon 1 week ago

Thank God for Jakarta!

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Sooo oily

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Also palmy

by Nat06 1 week ago

Not liking the taste of something isn't an unpopular opinion

by Anonymous 1 week ago

it is when most people do like the taste of it

by mullerdovie 1 week ago

It isn't. Liking the taste of something isn't an opinion.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

opinion - a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. Liking the taste of something is a judgement formed about that food

by mullerdovie 1 week ago

So your judgement of taste is either yuck or yum. If you like something, that is your oppinion. If you dislike something that is also your oppinion. Just becouse you can't form judgement by critically thinking or by explaining it in words doesn't mean you don't form it. You can even judge things by gut feeling alone.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

you getting a "yum or yuck" reaction is what you form the judgement from. If I drank sour milk for the first time, I would form the judgement that I don't like it.

by mullerdovie 1 week ago

You don't form a judgement to get that conclusion, you just either like it or you dont. Hence why there's no scenario where you enjoy the taste of something but don't like it, because there is no formation of anything. Again my cat likes and dislikes the taste of different things. He isn't forming judgement, the taste is either pleasing or isn't.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Liking it or not liking it is the judgement.

by mullerdovie 1 week ago

The opinion is Nutella is overhyped & OP doesn't like the taste. Extrapolate, people.

by Allenkirlin 1 week ago

I don't need to taste you to know you are sour. Yuck.

by haileegislason 1 week ago

Ooof shark has fangs.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Hehe I have known that I don't like certain things for reasons other than just is this yum or yuck by tasting it. I had things taste fine but the way the texture felt or the chew just wasn't it, So I just get why the people are saying you form opinions about food.

by haileegislason 1 week ago

Sure it is.

by Lmorar 1 week ago

It is lol

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Hey, that's okay. More for me!

by TripAlert9592 1 week ago

Ovolmaltine is so much better. Not sure if it exists outside Europe. It's based on chocolate and malt instead of chocolate and nougat. I hate nougat, so I feel you with your opinion about Nutella

by xanderebert 1 week ago

I freakin love Nutella, I could literally eat full jars of it with a spoon.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

It's overrated for sure. Just full of nasty oils and dominates the taste of everything it touches.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Don't know where you live but here in the uk it's definetly not oily.. your one sounds awful lol

by Any-Signature-9143 1 week ago

There's hardly any difference across countries for Nutella, but it's definitely the most oily chocolate paste you can find on the market. Leave it in the sun too long and you'll see it's like 75% palm oil

by wkoelpin 1 week ago

There's absolutely a difference across countries for Nutella.

by StunningHat 1 week ago

Only because it's so cold here!

by Simoneruecker 1 week ago

Yeah, way to oily and way too sweet.

by New-Cookie 1 week ago

Yes

by RelevantFix 1 week ago

I hate Nutella too. Though, the reason why is because when I was a young kid at school, this one boy would sit next to me in the food hall who would eat Nutella sandwiches, which smelt very strong, DAILY and then have Nutella down his shirt and round his mouth for the rest of the day... It definitely put me off

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Ngl I went through a phase of having two pieves of toast for breakfast and each piece had a least an inch thick of Nutella slathered on it

by Jumpy-Lion 1 week ago

You need the European stuff tbh.

by Single_Soup 1 week ago

I freaking hate hazelnuzz

by Frequent_Art 1 week ago

same

by mullerdovie 1 week ago

totally agree. such a strange flavour to me.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

That's because Merenda is superior

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Which one? Nutella made in Italy is different from the ones made in Germany, Wales, USA, etc. They are all sugar overdose ofc, but the flavours are different.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I just get the "this can't be good for me" taste from it

by SetGullible9001 1 week ago

I have Nutella allergy. Im not allergic to anything else but nutella

by williamdietrich 1 week ago

You'd probably love Vegemite then

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I actually agree so dunno how common this opinion is

by Anonymous 1 week ago

This is an unpopular opinion in what like 2012? What's next you don't like bacon and mustaches?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Never really liked them for a while now

by Kbartell 1 week ago

i don't know anyone who likes nutella

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Every time I think of Nutella I think of this girl in High School...

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Sokka-Haiku by DantheOutdoorsman: Every time I Think of Nutella I think Of this girl in High School... Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

by Alvenakeeling 1 week ago

It's ok, never understood the hype.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Keep in mind that Nutella's recipe is different across countries. I think in the US it tends to be sweeter than in other places, same goes for Mexico. I personally love it, although I prefer spreads that have more percentage of hazelnuts and cocoa.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

It's massively overrated

by Mckenziesantina 1 week ago

Yeah Nutella is overrated IMO. Not a fan.

by Main_Expert9798 1 week ago

The last time I ate Nutella was several years ago and I remember it was great. Idk if it's still good though

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I'm with you. I don't like Nutella either. Too sweet, not nutty enough.

by Bubbly_Twist9285 1 week ago

I don't like it either.

by Schoenlee 1 week ago

Me too

by keaganjohns 1 week ago

No no no no no no. Delete this.

by lucile60 1 week ago

Your opinion is bad and you should feel bad.

by Educational_Step3806 1 week ago

Just say first you are in the US. Because in Europe, nutella doesn't taste like that.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

The way it gets crusty is revolting. I haven't had it in a decade

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I feel the same way about nut butter.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I too used to like nutella but not anymore i preffer the cheapear cacao knockoff from Kaufland.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Funny thing you should mention that. I, too, cannot abide the stuff. Nasty business! And the taste is so disappointing. Chocolate or pb but definitely not Nuttela!

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I hate it too

by kautzernona 1 week ago

Whatever, personal taste preferences exist, enjoy food you like

by Anonymous 1 week ago

You're not Nutella, everybody can't like you

by Naive-Gur 1 week ago

This is unpopular opinion and you are entitled to yours. It might be wrong but you are allowed to not like Nutella. Not sure I could ever trust you, you probably don't like puppies either but I am not here to judge

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Mmmmm, more for me!

by Fabulous_Cry 1 week ago

It's basically palm oil and sugar.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I couldn't agree any more, the stuff is vile.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I haven't had to experience Nutella being oily every. Maybe it is just where you live. Nutella tastes amazing here.

by uweimann 1 week ago

ingredients

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Do you live in america?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

What I noticed in Europe is that Nutella tastes differently from one country to another. Maybe they adapt to the market taste, or it's the factory they make then, no idea. In Romania it is insanely sweet and fatty, in France it tastes more chocolaty, and my fav, the German one, tastes more like hazel nuts. But overall I am also not a big fan of it, you're right op.

by wizabrenden 1 week ago

I dont like it either!

by Working_Weather2714 1 week ago

Extremely unhealthy, so it's okay

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I don't like it either, it's wayyyyyyyyyyy too sweet and sugary.

by Leather_Ice143 1 week ago

I think it's nasty!

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Then just dont buy it?

by dorothy21 1 week ago

Try bonne maman so much better

by Fancy-Square 1 week ago

Not anymore but when I was a younger I used to eat it by the spoon.

by LessShoe4137 1 week ago

Hate it. It's so gross.

by legroskirk 1 week ago

I like Nutella but I kinda agree with this to an extent. I hate how thick it is and how it sticks to your mouth. And as I've gotten older (I say that like I'm 60, I'm 21 lol) I've found myself craving extremely sweet things like Nutella less and less frequently

by Charming_Fruit_1408 1 week ago

I'm a chocoholic but never cared much for Nutella.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

They took chocolate and gave it the worst qualities of peanut butter, my wife loves it, I think it's gross AF.

by Ezekielschneide 1 week ago

I don't like Nutella either, sa unang try lang sya okay tas pag matagal na mauumay ka, much better pa peanut butter

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I like it, goes good with croissants. If there isnt nutella i'll take the lidl's alternative of it, pretty good also, the taste is maybe less "extreme"

by AdKey2813 1 week ago

I don't like using Nutella as a spread, but I use it for my recipes.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I'm sorry, OP. I love it for all the reasons you hate it. I love the sweetness and stickiness.

by Mission-Site 1 week ago

Love Nutella way more than average chocolate spread the hazelnut tinge is something else

by Krunolfsdottir 1 week ago

I tell you guys, the "Nocciolata" from "Rigoni d'Asiago" is way better than Nutella. Try it and you'll tell me lol

by One-Bat-935 1 week ago

Ugh I can't stand it but my 21 year old daughter eats it by the spoon full 🤮

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I don't really like it either But once in a while, like once a year sometimes, I'll toast some bread then slap the fattest layer of Nutella onto it and eat it.

by Top-Introduction 1 week ago

I liked it until my teeth started hurting whenever I ate it. Now I dislike most sugary products.

by Trentondietrich 1 week ago

People just eat bread whith Nutella. Whats wrong with you eating a bread with candy for breakfast? And then we wonder why obesity is at an all time high.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Nutella tastes good but after scamming millions of people by peddling it as a healthy breakfast option for a number of years (when it really wasn't) I vowed to never buy the brand.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Who cares. This is a preference not an opinion and I find food preferences of strangers super boring.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

wtf bro?….

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I'm not a fan of Nutella either sigh I don't hate it as much as you do. It is full of saturated fat so that's terrible

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Too much sugar in it, not worth it

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Nutella's great but the way it's made is not

by Fredrick71 1 week ago

Well, it's not healthy, so not liking it is a good thing. I much prefer peanut butter or almond butter.

by Anonymous 1 week ago
